Ingredients
1.5 oz Blood Orange Syrup
2 oz GinISH
.05 oz Elderflower Syrup
Splash of Ginger Beer
Egg White
Slice(s) of Blood Orange
Instructions
-
Prepare the Glass:
Choose a highball glass or a similar glass for serving. Add ice cubes to the glass to chill it while preparing the mocktail. -
Combine Ingredients:
In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz Blood Orange Syrup. Add 2 oz of GinISH (non-alcoholic gin substitute) to the shaker. Pour 0.05 oz of Elderflower Syrup into the mix. -
Add Egg White:
Carefully separate an egg white and add it to the shaker. Make sure no egg yolk gets into the mix. -
Dry Shake:
Shake the ingredients in the shaker without ice. This is known as a dry shake and helps emulsify the egg white for a frothy texture. -
Add Ice and Shake Again:
Open the shaker, add ice cubes, and shake the mixture again. This time the ice helps chill the drink while further frothing the egg white. -
Strain into Glass:
Discard the ice from the prepared glass. Carefully strain the mixed ingredients from the shaker into the glass. -
Top with Ginger Beer:
Add a splash of Ginger Beer to the mocktail. Adjust the amount to your taste preferences. -
Garnish:
Place a slice or slices of Blood Orange on top of the drink for a visually appealing garnish. - Serve: Your Blood Orange, Ginger Fizz Mocktail is now ready to be enjoyed! Serve it immediately while it's chilled.
