Crafted with care, this infusion bag is designed to create a delightful Mexican-inspired blend right in the comfort of your own home. It combines whole Ancho chiles, crushed coffee beans sourced from Canadian roasters, and organic cacao nibs, creating a taste sensation that pairs wonderfully with tequila and mezcal.

Mexican Magic at Home: Even if you can't be in Jalisco for the holidays, our "Wishful Thinking" infuser brings a touch of Mexican magic to your doorstep. This infusion is ideal for blanco, reposado, and añejo versions of tequila, as well as mezcal. The flavors shine brightest with blanco tequila, providing a unique dimension to aged spirits. It can also enhance the character of neutral spirits like vodka.

Versatile Enjoyment: Once the infusion is complete, you're in control of how to enjoy it. Sip it straight, create a "Mexican coffee" reminiscent of Spanish coffee, or use it as a replacement in cocktails that typically call for brown liquor.

Instructions for Use: To create your infused tequila blend, you'll need a 1L glass jar and a 750mL bottle of tequila or mezcal. Follow these steps:

  1. Place the infusion bag in the bottom of the glass jar.
  2. Pour the entire bottle of tequila/mezcal into the jar.
  3. Give it a stir or gentle shake to displace any air bubbles from the infusion bag.
  4. Seal the jar with a lid and let it infuse for 96 hours (4 days).
  5. After 4 days, remove the bag, and your infused tequila is ready to enjoy.

Tips & Tricks: For the best results, stir or shake the jar gently once a day and take a daily taste test. The longer you leave the infuser in, the stronger the flavors will be from the chiles, cacao nibs, and coffee beans. While we recommend a 4-day wait, you can adjust the infusion period to your personal taste. If you're satisfied with the flavor, remove the bag and enjoy your creation.

There may be some sediment at the bottom of the jar due to fine spice particles that may have escaped during the steeping process. You can strain the liquid through cheesecloth to remove them, or simply allow them to settle and then pour the tequila carefully off the top.
